Aasim Munir was addressing the passing out parade of cadets at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Pakistani Army Chief General Aaseem Munir once again repeated the two-nation theory on Saturday that Muslims and Hindus are two different nations. Munir was addressing the passing out parade of cadets at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.
He said that Muslims are different from Hindus in all aspects of life- religion, customs, tradition and thinking. Our ancestors have sacrificed a lot to create Pakistan. We know how to protect it.

Something earlier also said that we are different from Hindus
The Pakistan Army Chief had earlier also spoke of two nation theory while speaking at a program in Islamabad on 16 April. Then he had said that the foundation of Pakistan is laid on Kalame (the basic mantra of Islam).
We are different from Hindus in every case. Our religion is different, our customs are different. Our culture and thinking is different. This was the foundation of two-nation theory.
General Munir had said that your children must tell the story of Pakistan. Our ancestors thought that we are different from Hindus. Our thinking, our ambitions are different. For this reason, we are two countries, not a country. Our ancestors have sacrificed for this country. We know how to protect it.

Kashmir was described as a ‘neccess of throat’ Munir described Kashmir as Pakistan’s ‘nerve’. He said, “Our attitude is absolutely clear. Kashmir was the vein of our throat, and we will never forget it. We will not leave our Kashmiri brothers alone in their heroic struggle.” He linked Kashmir to Gaza and said, “The heart of Pakistanis beats Gaza’s Muslims.”
India said how foreign thing can stuck in the throat
India retaliated on Munir’s statement that Pok is an integral part of India. It is illegally occupied by Pakistan. Pakistan will have to vacate Pok under any circumstances.
On the statement that describes Kashmir as a nerve of Pakistan’s throat, India’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal had said how a foreign thing can get stuck in the throat. Kashmir is an integral part of India.
Along with this, he said on the extradition of Tahwwur Rana, accused in the Mumbai attack, that it is a warning for Pakistan that he has to bring other accused in this attack to the dock of justice, which he is still saving.
