Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee, who was in the all -party parliamentary delegation on a visit to Malaysia, said on Sunday that the next conversation with Pakistan should be withdrawn only on the withdrawal of Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (PoK). In a conversation with Indian migrants in Kuala Lumpur, Banerjee said, “Despite the change of various governments, we have been talking to them (Pakistan) for decades. But one thing remains intact – deadlock with Pakistan.
Banerjee, who was involved in a delegation led by JD (U) Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Kumar Jha, said, “What happened on April22, in which 26 people were shot and killed only on the basis of their religion … I want the government to negotiate only on the issue of withdrawal of Pakistan -occupied Kashmir with Pakistan. Otherwise, these terrorist attacks will continue.
India has made it clear that any conversation with Pakistan will be held only on terrorism and PoK. During a conversation with the migrant community, members of the Jha -led delegation apprised India’s firm stand against terrorism. The members informed the participants about the across the border terrorism, especially the cowardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which affected India for decades.

Kuala Lumpur -based Indian High Commission posted on ‘X’, ‘members of the migrant community were encouraged to share India’s message on various communities and forums. In this dialogue, the views of Indian migrant members were also heard, including people from the Malaysian Indian Muslim community, who clearly condemned the terrorist attacks across the border.
Banerjee said that after the April 22 attack, India waited for two weeks to judge Pakistan and punish criminals, but nothing happened. He said that 14 days later, India destroyed nine terrorist hideout across the border through ‘Operation Sindoor’. Banerjee asked, ‘We are presenting all the evidence in public. There are pictures on social media that the Pakistani Army’s highly placed officers were seen attending the funeral of terrorists. What can India give more evidence to the world? He requested the migrant members to spend three to four days in Kashmir when they come to India.
