A woman in Britain has given birth to a baby girl from a transplant uterus. This is the first time in Britain. The girl’s mother Grace Davidson was born with a passive uterus since birth. In 2023, Grace was put on his sister’s uterus. This was Britain’s first successful uterine transplant.

Team of 30 doctors transplanted in 17 hours
Grace’s transplant surgery was postponed from 2019 due to Covid epidemic. Finally in February 2023, a medical team led by Surgeon Dr. Isabel Quiroga at Churchill Hospital in Oxford conducted a 17 -hour long operation.
More than 30 surgeons and experts together took out Amy’s uterus and transplanted Grace’s body. Grace and her husband want to produce another baby from this uterus. After this this uterus will be removed.
