Accused driver Janardan Hamberdekar had a dispute with some employees and wanted to take revenge.
Four employees were killed and six people were scorched due to fire in a private company bus on Wednesday morning in Hinjwadi area of Pune, Maharashtra.
Earlier it was considered an accident, but the police investigation revealed the conspiracy. Investigation has revealed that the driver himself set the bus on fire. He was angry with the salary deduction.
Pimpri Chinchwad Police Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vishal Gaikwad said that investigation revealed that the fire was not an accident. Accused driver Janardan Hamberdekar had a dispute with some employees and wanted to take revenge. He was also unhappy due to salary deduction.

Set fire to benzene in cloth
DCP reported that the accused had bought flammable chemical benzene. He also kept the cloth used to wipe the toner in the bus. When the bus reached near Hinjwadi, he lit a match and set fire to the cloth.
The accused driver then jumped from the driver driver. The bus stopped after walking about a hundred meters. Hambaradekar too was burnt before exiting the bus.
Seeing the police, he kept pretending to faint again and again
Despite the accused driver Hambardikar being marginally injured, he kept pretending to faint again and again after seeing the police. Senior Police Inspector Kanhaiya Thorat saw this case and suspected. After this, the police started questioning him. He was still giving an unclear answer. Meanwhile, the CCTV footage of a company located near the scene saw something burning under the driver seat. After this, the police made a thorough inquiry and the accused confessed the crime. The driver is undergoing treatment at the hospital and will be arrested later.
The accused was angry with three people sitting in the car
During interrogation, the accused driver said that he was treated by other employees of the company. Two days ago, he did not even let the bread eat from the box. Apart from this, salary was also deducted during Diwali. The accused driver was angry with three people sitting in the car. He carried out the incident to teach them a lesson.
Employees could not open emergency gate
In fact, on Wednesday, four employees Shankar Shinde (63), Rajan Chavan (42), Gurudas Lokre (45) and Subhash Bhosle (44) were killed in the bus fire on Wednesday. They were sitting behind in the bus and could not open the emergency gate on time. Apart from this, six passengers were scorched. The DCP has said that further investigation in the case is going on.
