The patient or any individual accident will give the police within 24 hours. Treatment will be started by approaching the patient in the hospital. If the treatment is not possible in the hospital, he will refer to the patient to another hospital and also arrange an ambulance.
How to work this plan?
The government has appointed a nodal agency. The agency will work together with the cooperation of the National Health Authority, the registration of the hospitals, tracking the treatment of patients and to decide the timely payment. The expansion of the state agencies will be made in association and will be seen on fraud. After the treatment is complete, the hospital will record a claim on a online portal. The state agency will examine it, will approve and pay within 10 days. If there is any confusion of the rules, only the rules of the main plan will be valid.
Why is this plan?
Central road traffic minister Nitin Gadkari said that 1.8 lakh people were killed in road accidents in 2024, out of which 30,000 people died. He said that 66% of the people who die in road accidents are 18 to 34 years old and about 10,000 children have been killed in accidents near schools and colleges.
