Punjab Transport Minister Shri Laljit Singh Bhullar on Sunday inaugurated the Institute of Automotive and Driving Skills at Government ITI Rupnagar, the third such government institute in the state after Mahuana (Sri Muktsar Sahib) and Hoshiarpur.

Congratulating the people of the district, the Transport Minister said that the state government has fulfilled the long-standing demand of the people of the area by establishing such a driving skill center. Now the people of the area will not have any difficulty in getting driving license and training.

Laljit Singh Bhullar, who came along with MLA Advocate Dinesh Chadha and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav, said that earlier such centers at Sri Muktsar Sahib and Hoshiarpur covered all the districts, due to which the people in remote areas had to face huge difficulties. was Now, due to the tireless efforts of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led government, RTO system is being started in every district, which will make it easier for people to get training. He said that our government is fulfilling its commitment to provide better facilities to the people of the state.

On this occasion, while thanking Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, MLA Advocate Dinesh Chadha said that this organization is very important for the district because most of the transporters of Delhi and Himachal Pradesh belong to Rupnagar district and they are (district Sri Muktsar Sahib) or One had to go to Mahuana village to get Hoshiarpur heavy driving license. Now opening the third such center in Rupnagar is a matter of pride for us.

Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Dr. Preeti Yadav said that registration can be done for 2 days training in this center opened with the support of District Red Cross and detailed information regarding this will be made available online soon. There will be a total of 30 slots in this training, out of which 5 will be reserved for immediate needs.
