The Punjab Government has called special sessions of the Vidhan Sabha till September 26 to deal with the flood situation. This earlier, Chief Minister Bhagwant Man has convened the Cabinet Meeting on September 24. During this meeting, the government will approve the rules for relief of flood loss. Then these proposals will be presented in the Vidhan Sabha.
The Cabinet meeting will be at 12 am. All ministers and MLAs will be present. Notifications for the Assembly session has also been issued. It will start on September 26 at 11. However, the action will run only two days, as September 27 and 28, and have public holidays respectively.

Earlier, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had a meeting on September 9 through video conferencing during the treatment of the hospital. During the meeting, the Punjab Government announced the flood relief package. For the farmers of the farmers, “Rs 4 lakh per acre to the farmers for the loss of crops.
