A case of death of a young man has come to light in village Nandgarh in Mansa district. The corpse of Dharmpreet Singh (26), who went to bathe in the canal, has been recovered from Fatehpur head. The family members of the deceased have expressed suspicion of murder on some youths of the village. The police is engaged in investigation.

Family members Govind Singh and Kulwant Singh said that Dharmpreet used to work with some people of the village. Money transaction was also going on with him. Family members allege that these youths pushed Dharmpreet into the canal and killed them.
Went to bathe on the canal with four companions
SHO of police station Jhunir, Englishman Singh said that Dharmpreet along with four colleagues of his village had gone to bathe on the canal on a motorcycle. He died due to drowning there. The police have registered a case on the statement of the mother of the deceased. Investigation has been started against the accused youths.
