This project will create largely employment opportunities for young people in the future. The Punjab Government is already working on the project.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Man has a meeting with major representatives in Chandigarh in Chandigarh and prepared a strategy to make the state country leading semicocratic hub. He assured that the government would lift all possible steps to develop a strong semiconductor ecoysteistum in Punjab.

He also said that the industry is currently contributing to the country’s economy with an annual rate of 20 to 23%. The Punjab Government is working to set up a dedicated semiconductor park for this industry in Mohali.
