Shinde said that India has adopted a policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism and is taking decisive action to expose and isolate the state sponsors of cross-border terrorism.
In a sharp and innocent message given from the international stage, MP Srikanth Shinde condemned the terrorism being done in the name of religion and gave a strong warning to Pakistan. Referring to the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Shinde said that the attackers targeted the victims on the basis of their religion – before firing, they investigated whether they were Hindus or Muslims. Their purpose was clear: to spoil the social harmony of India. This has got to stop. Shinde said that India has adopted a policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism and is taking decisive action to expose and isolate the state sponsors of cross-border terrorism.
The statement was made during the high -level visit of Sierra Leone from 28 to 30 May 2025, where Shiv Sena MP Srikanth Shinde led an all -round Indian delegation under India’s diplomatic efforts to raise global awareness about the increasing threat of terrorism. The delegation met the prominent people of Sierra Leone’s government, including the Vice President, the Speaker of Parliament, the Deputy Minister, National Security Coordinator and Foreign Affairs officials.
During these meetings, Shinde reiterated India’s zero-tolerance trend on terrorism and called for integrated global action. Sierra Leon’s Parliament unanimously condemned the Pahalgam attack, which also kept a minute’s silence for the victims. Vice President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Mohammad Juldeh, expressed solidarity with India and condemned the cowardly attack. Deputy Defense Minister Colonel (Retired) Muana Braima Masakwoi and Deputy Opposition leader Daniel Breima Koroma also reiterated similar sentiments, and unitedly called upon African countries to collectively fight terrorism.
