The family and the local people are protesting demanding the hanging of the accused.
A 17 -year -old youth was stabbed to death in Delhi’s Seelampur area at around 8 pm on Thursday evening. The victim died during treatment at the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Kunal (son Rajveer), who was a resident of J-Block, New Seelampur.
A case of murder has been registered at Seelampur police station. Many teams are searching for the attacker. Police said- The reason behind the murder is not clear at the moment. Footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being investigated. Also, eyewitnesses are also being questioned.
There is an atmosphere of tension in the area after the incident. Family and local people are protesting by road blockade demanding justice. Heavy police force is deployed. The family members of the deceased alleged- the attack was carried out by the boys of the Muslim community in the old rivalry.
On the other hand, Hindu families living in J-block have put posts of Hindu migration outside the houses. Posters like ‘Hindu are migrating, Yogi ji help’, ‘This house is for sale’, ‘Hindu in danger’. PM Modi and CM have requested help from Yogi.

- Mother said- We were thinking of selling houses and going from here. Never thought that the son would leave. Someone else’s rivalry was taken out on my son and his son had nothing to do with it.
- father said- I saw 4-5 boys attacking the son with my eyes. In the past, many Hindu families have gone from the area and now the rest are thinking of going.

Police said- search for accused continues, will soon catch Additional DCP (North East) Sandeep Lamba said- We are searching from place to place. The accused will be caught soon. Investigation is going on. Police teams are active in different areas of Delhi since 11 am. Suspected vehicles are being investigated by putting barricades at many places including Defense Colony. From the constable to the commissioner, they are checking on the road and checking.
