Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s big revelation: BRS-BJP’s ‘secret alliance’ hindering the development of Telangana

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday alleged a “nexus” between the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Reddy also met BRS President K. Chandrashekhar Rao and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy was also accused of spreading “rumors” against the Congress government and creating “obstacles” in the development of the state. Revanth Reddy, while starting the election campaign in support of Congress Party candidate V. Naveen Yadav in Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, alleged that Kishan Reddy is hampering the development of Hyderabad by obstructing the expansion of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project and Musi Rejuvenation Project.

“BJP leaders have secret links with BRS and BJP’s victory on eight seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is proof of this,” he said. He asked, did the two Union ministers (Kishan Reddy and Bundy Sanjay Kumar) bring any funds for the state? He alleged that BJP MPs are campaigning in Jubilee Hills but are not demanding funds from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the development of Telangana.

The Chief Minister said that after winning the by-elections, Congress has started development projects worth Rs 4,000 crore in the Secunderabad Cantonment area. He appealed to the voters of Jubilee Hills to support Congress candidate Naveen Yadav. Voting for the by-election in Jubilee Hills assembly constituency will be held on November 11 and counting of votes will take place on November 14.
