The Kotwali city police of Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday arrested two people for gang -raping a 16 -year -old teenager on his birthday. Police gave this information.
Police said that an FIR is being registered in this regard and investigation is being done. Police officer (CO) Ankit Mishra said that on September 12, the victim’s father lodged a complaint that two neighbors, Rustom (19) and Priyanshu (19) took his daughter to a deserted place and then gang -raped her.
He said that during the police interrogation, it was found that both the accused knew the victim beforehand. The CO said that on the father’s complaint, the police registered a case and arrested both the accused.
