After winning the first Test against West Indies, Team India will now play the second Test match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi from 10th October. India is currently leading 1-0 in this two-match series. Before the second test, Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir organized a big dinner party for the players of Team India at his residence.
A memorable evening was in store for Team India when coach Gautam Gambhir hosted a dinner party for Team India and the support staff at his home. BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla also participated on this occasion.
According to reports, about 70 types of main dishes were served in Gambhir’s dinner party, along with 10 types of sweets. The menu included Indian, Tandoori, Chinese, Continental and Italian dishes.
The team players reached Gambhir’s house by bus while Harshit Rana reached the head coach’s house in his personal car. During this time all the players of Team India arrived in their normal dress. Most of the players and support staff preferred white colored clothes.
Let us tell you that this dinner party is being considered a step towards strengthening the spirit of harmony and cooperation in the team. Such informal meetings help the players and the coaching staff to have better rapport with each other. This dinner party is also being considered important to divert attention from the issue of removing Rohit Sharma from the ODI captaincy.
