Manav Sharma, a resident of Defense Colony in Sadar region, worked in Mumbai as a recruitment manager at TCS. His sister Akanksha lives in Delhi with his family. Father Narendra Sharma is retired from the Air Force. On the day of the incident, the human mother went to Delhi to the daughter, while the father was at home.
According to human father, ‘Son was married to Nikita on January 30, 2024 in Barahan, Agra. After this, the daughter -in -law also moved to Mumbai to her son. For a few days, it went right, but after that the daughter -in -law started quarreling. Threatened to implicate the family in a false trial. The daughter -in -law started talking about living with her boyfriend.
On 23 February, daughter -in -law and son came home from Mumbai. The same day the human wife went to the maternal home to leave. The human beings threatened the human there. The next day at 5 am (24 February) the son had committed suicide by hanging in the house.

A video of Manav Sharma surfaced on 27 February. In this he was saying- ‘I will go. Think of men, please think, someone should talk about men. Poor people are very lonely. Papa Sorry, Mummy Sorry, Akku (sister Akanksha) sorry. Everything will be alright as soon as I leave.
There will be no man left, on which you can blame. I have tried suicide before. I am doing again today. Come on, okay, I am going now. I don’t mind any law and order. I tell myself, man, everyone has beans. My wife has an affair with someone. No problem.’
After this they start crying. Laughs in the last minute. It is said that if you want to do it, do it in a manner. Tears wipes and says, ‘Don’t touch my parents.’

The wife also released the video after Manav Sharma’s video surfaced. In this, she was saying- ‘Manav had tried to hang him three times. Once I myself saved them by cutting the noose. After saving I brought him to Agra. He happily left me at home. It is wrong to say that no one listens to men.
Nikita further said, ‘He used to beat me. Used to drink. I told this to their parents, but they said-both of you husband and wife should understand each other, no one will come. The day he died, I told his sister that day, but he ignored it. The day the dead body of man came, I went to his house, but two days later he drove me away.
Wife Nikita was absconding since 28 February After Manav Sharma’s suicide on 27 February, his father went to the Sadar police station to complain. The soldiers there refused to file a case. It was said- Officers are in duty of Mahashivratri. He then wrote a complaint letter on the CM portal.
The police then registered an FIR against Nikita, her parents and 2 sisters. On February 28, when the police arrived to interrogate Nikita, the lock was hung at the house. Since then the police was searching for Nikita Sharma.

On March 6, Nikita’s father filed a petition in the High Court for fear of arrest. Said- ‘Daughter and my family were in Barhan village. We are not responsible for human suicide.
His petition was first heard on March 12. The High Court rejected Nikita’s father’s petition.

On 20 March, the Agra court issued an arrest warrant against Nikita and her father. After this, the Agra Police declared a reward of 10 thousand thousand on both.
ACP Sadar Vinayak Bhonsle said- Police was constantly raiding Nikita and Nripendra in search of. Both have been arrested from Ahmedabad. He has been brought to Agra. He will be questioned here.
