Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will inaugurate the world-class Semmozhi Poonga, equipped with modern facilities, built at a cost of Rs 208.50 crore in Coimbatore on November 25.
The establishment of the park was announced by late DMK leader and former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi during the World Classical Tamil Conference in 2010, an official release said on Sunday. It was told that in December 2023, Chief Minister Stalin had participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony of this park.
In a release, the government said that the Chief Minister will inaugurate the park on November 25 and it will be opened to the general public from the same day. After this, Stalin will participate in the ‘TN Rising Conclave’ held in Coimbatore where several MoUs are expected to be signed with various companies.
According to the release, Chief Minister Stalin will attend an official function in Erode on November 26 where he will inaugurate completed projects and also lay the foundation stone of several new projects.
