Taliban rejected Pakistan’s allegations against India, gave statement on border dispute

New Delhi. The Taliban government of Afghanistan has completely rejected the allegations made by Pakistan on India. Let us tell you that Pakistan had recently accused India of playing a role in the clashes on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, which Kabul has described as “baseless, irrational and unacceptable”.
According to current information, Afghan Defense Minister Mohammad Yacob made it clear that Afghanistan’s aim is to strengthen its relations with India, but this does not mean that it will take action against any third country. Yaqoob is the son of Taliban founder Mullah Omar and in an interview to Qatari media Al Jazeera, he said that Afghan policy is never to use its land against any other country and the priority is to maintain relations with India as a strong and independent nation.
It is noteworthy that Taliban has always rejected Pakistan’s allegations, accusing it of giving shelter to militant groups like Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Afghanistan. Yaqoob said Pakistan’s aggressive actions, such as airstrikes on Kabul, were responsible for the recent clashes. He also said that Qatar and Turkey should help and monitor the implementation of the peace agreement.
In the current situation, Afghanistan wants to maintain good neighborly relations with Pakistan, but for this it is necessary to follow the commitments like mutual respect and non-violation of the border. Yakub warned that this peace agreement will be successful only if all parties understand their responsibilities and avoid border violations. This reaction of the Afghan Taliban has come at a time when relations between India and Afghanistan are gradually improving, although New Delhi has not yet officially recognized the Taliban government.
