During thermal scanning by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), a water leakage at a height of 73 meters has been detected in the dome of the Taj Mahal. According to sources, the dome is currently kept in scaffolding to continue inspection by ASI, which is likely to last 15 days. Subsequently, experts will start repair work on the dome, which will take about six months to complete.
