The campus of CGC University, Mohali sparkled with the two-day Techno-Cultural Fair of Swisscar 2025. The fair was a beautiful amalgamation of technology, creativity and innovative thinking of the youth.
These two days were filled with research, learning and excitement for the university. The fair saw several exciting competitions — VaultHeist Hackathon, Robo Wars, National MUN discussions and a drone show that dazzled the skies. Battle of bands, dance competition and drift show made the fair even more lively.
Swisscar 2025 became a platform for youth to showcase their skills and ideas. In programs like Thinkathon, TechXhibit, Best Manager competition and Forensic Evidence Research, students performed brilliantly with their understanding and imagination. Raghav Sharma in National MUN, Divya Yadav in Best Manager, Team Slot Smart in Thinkathon, Team The Forensics in Forensic Evidence Research and Vishal Kumar in TechXhibit bagged first place. The winners of hackathons and other competitions were awarded cash prizes of ₹31,000, ₹21,000, ₹11,000, ₹5,000 and more.
Apart from this, the food and drink stalls in the mela presented the flavors of different foods of the country, which turned the campus into a colorful mela. Along with this, the special promotion of the films “Gode Gode Chow 2” and “Suhe Ve Chire Walya” added to the beauty of the fair.
The evening was filled with music, dancing and merriment. The students of CGC University won everyone’s hearts with their artistic performances. Live shows by singers Kushagra Thakur, Sunanda Sharma and famous musicians Salim-Sulaiman had everyone rocking. With the visionary thinking of CGC University’s management team, Switzerland 2025 was not just a program — it was an experience. It gave students an opportunity to learn, grow and realize their dreams.
