Delhi Police said their investigation had revealed that Saraswati had strengthened its control over the institute by renting the properties of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasasthanam Dakshinamnay Shri Sharda Peetham, who operates it, by renting the properties to private companies for financial benefits.

Today’s advance bail is related to allegations related to financial irregularities, while self -proclaimed religious leader Swami Chaitanyanand also made headlines after a case of alleged sexual harassment against him. Swayambhu religious leader is accused of tampering and harassment with 17 girl students from a private management institute in Delhi. Earlier, Delhi Police said that it was making all efforts to catch the absconding Chaitananand Saraswati in the alleged sexual harassment case on the basis of a complaint lodged at Vasant Kunj North Police Station of the national capital.
