According to the notice of voluntary return of vehicle issued by the company on the website of Society of India Automobile Manufacturers Association (SIAM), Suzuki Motorcycle India has raised two issues on the issue of engine vibration. Gixxer bike 199 units have been recalled. The owners of these bikes will be notified in person. He has to take his bike to the nearest Suzuki dealership. Where it will be inspected and faultless. For information, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 bicycles have been recalled, manufactured between 12 August 2019 and 21 March 2021.

The recall was issued due to excessive vibration in the engine of these Suzuki bikes, which is the result of incorrect positioning of the balancer drive gear. Suzuki Motorcycle India said the issue was referred to a supervisor. Which failed to use the pattern to mark the matching position for the balancer drive gear. As a result, the position of the balancer drive gear was changed, causing a lot of vibration. In India, these bikes compete with Bajaj Dominar 250 (Yamaha FZ 25) and Bajaj Dominar 250.
