Sushant Singh Rajput Case | Riya Chakraborty notice to Riya Chakraborty in Sushant’s death case, CBI’s ‘closure report’ will be replied

A magistrate court has issued a notice to actress Riya Chakraborty on the closure report filed by the CBI in the case of the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.In March, the central agency filed a closure report in the case, which concluded that it is a simple case of suicide.The report filed in the magistrate court of Mumbai is related to the case filed by Chakraborty for allegedly abetting suicide against Rajput sisters Priyanka Singh and Meetu Singh and a doctor.

The Central Agency filed its ‘closure report’ in the five -year -old case in a magistrate court in suburban Bandra in March. The case was later shifted to the Aspland court in South Mumbai, which hear the CBI cases.

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate RD Chavan, who was hearing the case in the Aspland court, issued a notice to the original complainant/ victim/ (Chakravarti) of the case earlier this month. Chakraborty filed a complaint against Rajput’s sisters and a doctor, alleging that he was responsible for his death. The next hearing of the case will be held on August 12.

The CBI presented a ‘closure report’ after investigating the case. After hearing the concerned parties, the court has to decide whether the report is accepted or the agency should be ordered further investigation. Rajput (34), who hails from Bihar, was found dead in his apartment in Bandra on 14 June 2020.
