Suryakumar Yadav gave fitness update before Asia Cup 2025, know what ‘Mr. 360’

Team India’s T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav shared his fitness update before the Asia Cup 2025. He was injured in IPL 2025. He underwent sports hernia surgery in late June. Surya said that he had realized an injury at the end of the IPL as he had faced this problem earlier. At the same time, we have talked about long journey from surgery to rehab and recovery. The BCCI has shared a video of Surya.

Surya said in the video that, I am feeling good right now. It has been 5-6 weeks. There has been good process and good routine for the last 6 weeks. Feeling very good. It was revealed at the end of the IPL. I realized because last year I was also hurt by a similar injury and so I came to know. There were some checklists, which I tried and then I realized that the time has come to get a small MRI. When I got this done, it became absolutely clear. I did this after the IPL, went to Germany. It was very good as last year and I knew how the recovery phase will be phase.

Surya further said that, I think the most important thing for me is that when you come in the Center of Excellence or when I was in NCA last year, they understood how my body reacts under some circumstances. So all the strength and conditioning coaches and physio understood how the body works and accordingly they planned some workouts. All this used to happen immediately. As soon as I used to go to the gym and come here, they would plan a session. In this way we took one week each and slowly but continuously we reached here.
