We are already saying clearly, if we came to know that there is no progress in the case, then we will issue a notice of contempt.

Gadkari launched cashless treatment scheme The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways started the pilot project ‘Cashless Treatment Scheme’ for cashless treatment of road accident victims on 14 March 2024. After this, on 7 January 2025, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced to launch it across the country soon. With this, a maximum of Rs 1.5 lakh will be provided by the Central Government for the treatment of the injured if there is a road accident anywhere in the country.

You have to pay for themselves at spending above one and a half million If the hospital is to be referred to a large hospital after first aid, then the hospital will have to ensure that the patient gets admission there.

After cashless treatment up to one and a half lakhs, NHAI will work as a nodal agency in its payment, that is, after treatment, the patient or their family do not have to pay up to one and a half lakhs.

If the treatment costs more than one and a half lakhs, then the increased bill will have to be filled by the patient or family. Sources say that efforts are being made that the amount of one and a half lakhs can be increased to Rs 2 lakh.

Actually, an hour after the accident is called ‘Golden Hour’. During this time, many deaths occur due to lack of treatment. This scheme is being started to reduce this.
