Accused caught in the arrest of Vigilance Bureau
The Punjab Vigilance Bureau arrested a government official in Amritsar after a complaint received by the Chief Minister on the anti-corruption action line. The accused has been identified as Satnam Singh, which was in Block Development and Panchayat Office, Verka Block, Rani’s garden

A resident of Nabipur village had complained that his neighbor Gurvinder Singh had illegally occupied his house. BDPO Lakhwinder Kaur handed over the case to the superintendent. A fine of Rs 3,284 was imposed on confirmation of encroachment in the investigation.
10 thousand rupees from Google-Pay
Despite the notice, the police’s help was sought for not removing the encroachment. During this, Satnam Singh demanded 50 thousand rupees for further action. The complainant sent 10 thousand rupees by Google-Pay. After this illegal pillars were removed.
The neighbor later stopped the village drain. When the complainant re -approached, Satnam Singh threatened to remain silent about the bribe. Vigilance has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act after investigation. The accused will be produced in court on Tuesday. The role of BDPO Lakhwinder Kaur is also being investigated.
