Meanwhile, Priya Kapoor informed Justice Jyoti Singh that both the children of Sanjay’s ex -wife Karishma Kapoor had already received Rs 1,900 crore from the family trust and said that “What else do they want?” Sanjay and Karishma’s children have filed a petition in the High Court and asked for a share in the property of their late father and alleged that Priya has lost the property of Sanjay Kapoor.

However, opposing the claims made before Justice Jyoti Singh, Priya’s lawyer said, “It is not that people have been left on the streets.” He said that the will was not registered, but it is not ‘illegal’. The judge asked whether the will was registered. The lawyer said, “It is not registered. Being unregistered does not end its nature. There is a decision that says that its validity does not end by being unregistered. When I prepare a will, my wife will have the right to check if it is of suspicious nature.

All this is going on crying just six days before the trial. The litigants received Rs 1900 crore from the trust. What else do they want? ”The Delhi High Court then filed a petition filed by actress Karisma Kapoor’s two children- Adhara Kapoor (20) and minor son (15), which challenged the alleged will of her late father Sanjay Kapoor. The court also issued a notice to the children’s step mother Priya Kapoor and postponed the hearing till October 9.

The judge said, “Notice should be issued. Answer in two weeks, respond a week later. With the answers, defendant 1 (Priya) will file a list of all movable and immovable properties known to Defense 1. The property is to be declared by June 12. The next date of hearing is 9 October. ”

The lawyer also mentioned the case of Karishma’s divorce with Sanjay. Meanwhile, Sanjay’s mother Rani Kapoor also challenged the will and said that he had nothing left and described the entire process as ‘impure’. His lawyer senior advocate Vaibhav Gaggar said, “Today I have nothing. I have written at least 15 emails while asking about the will, what are the documents? Not even a word has been shared. I have been told that my email has been tampered with. It is incredibly fake.

I should have assets worth Rs 10,000 crore. I am 80 years old. everything went. I am not there. Ms. Sachdeva (Priya) came, within three months of her marriage, everything went away? My son left me today without a roof. ”The lawyer claimed that the properties were being sold. On behalf of the litigants, senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani questioned the validity of the will and alleged that Priya had coined it to capture the property.

The petition claimed that neither Sanjay Kapoor mentioned the will, nor Priya Kapoor or any other person mentioned its existence. It alleges that Priya Kapoor’s conduct “without any doubt, shows that the alleged will is fabricated by him”. Karishma and Sanjay Kapoor were married in 2003 and got divorced in 2016. Sanjay died on June 12 during a polo match in London. Allegedly a fly had gone into his mouth and then died of a heart attack.
