Addressing Shiromani Akali Dal Pradhan Sukhbir Singh Badal rally in Talwandi Sabo
Party chief Sukhbir Singh Badal made several big announcements at the Shiromani Akali Dal rally on the occasion of Baisakhi in Talwandi Sabo. He said that gangsters and drugs smugglers from Punjab will be abolished if the Akali Dal government is formed in 2027.

Badal promised to prioritize Punjabis in government jobs. At the same time, announced a law to stop outsiders from buying farming land in the state. He said that he is committed to making Punjab the number one state in the country.
The Akali Dal chief also promised to strengthen welfare schemes. This includes re-starting the ‘flour-dal’ scheme and doubling the amount of old age pension and Shagun scheme. Sukhbir Badal called for unity in the creed. He appealed to all the Akalis to return to the party. Badal accused the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party of robbing Punjab and said that the Akali Dal is the only party that fulfills its promises.
Conspiracy to lure the tallests: Badal
Referring to the conspiracies being composed to harm the party and to eliminate the credibility of Sikh institutions, the Akali Chairman said that both the boards of both Shri Hazur Sahib and Shri Patna Sahib have been expanded and done under government control. He said that all this started after the Akali Dal separated from the NDA. He said that recently there were conspiracies to woo the tallest’s Jathedars with protection and greed.
Referring to Giani Harpreet Singh, he said that he and others have tried to destroy the reputation of the cult. He said, “I thank the Shiromani Akali Dal, which has successfully withdrawn the Takht from the central government, which forced the Jathedars to stand against the Sikh community.”
Emphasizing that the Akali Dal is the real successor of Punjab, Sardar Badal said that the party has increased the thermal plants, roads, airports, irrigation facilities, brought MSP for wheat and paddy and is responsible for the rapid development of the state by launching MSP and flour scheme, old age pension and Shagun schemes.

Aam Aadmi Party cheated Punjabis
The Akali Dal president strongly condemned the Aam Aadmi Party to cheat the Punjabis, saying, “The Aam Aadmi Party government promises to give Rs 11 a month, a pension scheme of Rs 2500 and the promise to raise all 22 crops on MSP and make Punjab drug -free?” He said that instead of fulfilling these promises, the government is engaged in looting Punjab. Arvind Kejriwal has become the real Chief Minister. He said, “Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has turned his back on his responsibilities, due to which gangsters have captured the state and grenade attacks have become common.”
