A case of suicide by a student of Patiala’s Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology came to light. The student whose name was Ramesh Yadav who was a second year student of Chemical Engineering in Thapar who hailed from Kota, Rajasthan.
At the time this incident took place, an atmosphere of harmony prevailed in the university. The dead body was taken into custody by the police and sent to Rajindra Hospital in Patiala for post-mortem. After the post mortem, the body will be handed over to the family members.
SHO Civil Line Patiala said that the student used to be mentally disturbed. Currently, no suicide note has been recovered from the dead body. The dead body has been handed over to the heirs after conducting a post-mortem by the police.
