Amritsar | Officials of Chief Khalsa Diwan have supported the peaceful fury on March 28 to restore the Takht Jathedars removed by Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa, head of Damdami Taksal.

Diwan’s head Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar and Honorary Secretary Savinder Singh Katunangal said that sudden removal of the tanges and appointing new jathedars without sectal acceptance is a direct attack on Shri Akal Takht Sahib’s supremacy, Sikh principles and culture.
Diwan’s head Dr. Nijjar, Deputy Principal Santosh Singh Sethi, Deputy Principal Jagjit Singh, local head Kuljit Singh Sahni, Honorary Secretary Ramanik Singh appealed to Sikh organizations, Sant Samaj and Guru Nanak Naam Leva Sangatas to join this fury in favor of truth and justice according to Sikh principles.
