Sudani soldiers have posted a video on social media, in which they are celebrating the presidential palace.
Sudan’s army said on Friday that it had taken the Presidential Palace in Khartum. The army has also won the last stronghold back nearly two years after the war that was going on with paramilitary forces.
Sudani soldiers have posted a video on social media, in which they are saying that on the 21st day of Ramadan they have taken the Rashtrapati Bhavan built on the banks of the Nile. The 21st day of Ramadan is Friday.
In the video, a soldier shouted and said- ‘We are inside! We are in the Republican Palace! ‘ During this time many soldiers are seen celebrating around him.
Sudan’s Information Minister and military spokesperson has confirmed that this palace has been a symbol of power in Sudan for two centuries, now it has again come under government control. The flag of Sudan has been hoisted here today. This journey of victory will continue until it is fully won.

Winning Republican Palace Sudani Army’s big victory
Re -occupying the Republican Palace is a major symbolic victory for the Sudani Army. After the war began in April 2023, the army lost majority of Khartum to RSF, making them limited to some military bases only.
This victory also emphasizes the Sudani army campaign under which they are trying to take out paramilitary forces completely from Khartum. This major counter -attack, which has been on for six months, has tilted the balance of war in the eastern part of Sudan in favor of the army.
More than 28 thousand people killed in 2 years in Sudan
There has been a conflict between the army and paramilitary forces for almost two years in Sudan. The struggle began in April 2023 when the fight for power struggle broke out between the army and RSF leaders. In the last two years, more than 28 thousand people have been killed in Sudan so far, while millions of people have had to migrate.
Doctor Syndicate of Sudan condemned the RSF attack. He said that a Gola al-Nava had fallen a few meters from the hospital. He said that the hospital has mostly injured women and children. Hostels do not have enough doctors and nurses to treat them.
