Dafar Brothers (Matt Dafar and Ross Dafar), the manufacturer of Stranger Things, has officially terminated its contract with Netflix and will now make their big professional steps in paramount. After several days of speculation, the new paramount has confirmed the news that the filmmaker couple is joining the studio headed by David Ellison with their upside down pictures label. According to the Variety reports, Matt and Ross are officially signing a broad, four -year contract for films, television and streaming projects in Paramount. According to the report, his new agreement includes “ambitious” and “large -scale theater films”. The new attempt will begin in April 2026 after the existing deal of Dafar Brothers with Netflix ends. The upcoming projects will be supported by his production company, Upside Down Pictures, which will co-produce his partner and company president Hillary Hillary. Quoting the variety, Matt and Ross said in a statement, “We are very happy to join the Paramount family.”

Dafar Brothers further said, “Being a part of that mission is not just exciting – this is the fulfillment of a lifetime dreams. According to the report, the pair would also partner with Matt Thunle, president of Paramount Television, who first worked with them in Netflix.
According to the Variety reports, Paramount has appointed Matt and Ross Dafar after the company’s $ 8 billion merger with Skydance. The report states that the two will work with Josh Greenstein and Dana Goldberg, who share creative responsibilities for the film and series. His appointment is part of the goal of Chairman and CEO David Ellison, under which “to be the first choice for filmmakers and artists who are looking for a creative platform that promotes his work and put it on the global stage.”

Matt and Ross are currently ready for the fifth and last season of ‘Stranger Things’ on Netflix. Dafar Brothers will be involved in ‘Stranger Things’ and their other existing development projects even after their deal is over with Netflix.
