According to the information, the procession of Hanuman Jayanti was coming out of Shah’s Kolhu Pura and coming to Rapta, Haat Road. However, this procession did not have permission. The procession was being taken out without permission. At around 7:30 pm, the procession reached Saman of the mosque in Colonelganj. Here, a councilor got upset with someone to carry forward the procession. Meanwhile, stone was thrown from somewhere on the procession. This made the atmosphere tense. Some people say that there is stone pelting from both sides.
Collector-SP reached the spot The police chased the youth from there. The youth with the procession reached Hanuman intersection from there. Here he made efforts of Chakkajam. However, police officers including administrative officials reached the spot. The youth were demanding to register an FIR. The officials asked them to reach Kotwali and lodge a complaint. After this, the youth left for Kotwali.
On the other hand, Collector Kishore Kumar Kanyal and SP Sanjeev Kumar Sinha reached Hanuman Chaurah. From here he reached Colonelganj area to take stock. The situation is currently under control.
