Stock Market Closing On 23rd June 2022: After Wednesday’s fall, the Indian stock market saw a rise today due to global cues and investors’ buying. Sensex once again climbed above 52,000 points. At the end of trading today, the Sensex of Mumbai Stock Exchange closed at 52,265 points with a gain of 443 points, while the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 15,556 points with a gain of 143 points.

In the stock market today, buying was seen in all sectors except energy and oil and gas sector. Sectors like banking, auto, IT, pharma, FMCG, consumer durables saw buying in stocks. Mid cap and small cap stocks have also seen a rise. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 45 stocks have closed in green, while 3 out of 30 stocks of Sensex closed in red and 27 shares closed in green.
Growth in these sectors
Among the giants in the market, Maruti’s stock has seen the biggest rise. Maruti Suzuki closed 6.83 percent, Mahindra 4.61 percent, Asian Paints 3.19 percent, TCS 2.82 percent, Bharti Airtel 2.66 percent, Wipro 2.10 percent, Sun Pharma 1.97 percent, HUL 1.94 percent.

If we look at the falling shares, Reliance closed with a decline of 1.48 percent, NTPC 1.02 percent, Power Grid 0.81 percent, Coal India 1.12 percent and Grasim 0.53 percent.
