Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has also condoled the loss of lives and property in the stampede at Venkateswara temple in Kashibugga in Srikakulam district. In a post on Twitter, Chief Minister Naidu said, “The incident of stampede at the Venkateswara Temple at Kasibugga in Srikakulam district has shocked. The loss of devotees in this tragic incident is extremely heartbreaking. I express my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. I have directed the officials to provide prompt and proper treatment to the injured. Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer expressed grief over the death of at least nine people in the stampede at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Srikakulam district on Saturday.
