A painful road accident has taken place in Bhai Ki Pishore village near Lehragaga of Sangrur. Three young people walking here were crushed by a Varna vehicle. In this accident, one youth died and two were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to Rajindra and Amar Hospitals in Patiala. The deceased has been identified as Lakhwinder Singh.
In this regard, the victim Ramandeep Singh and advocate Manjit Singh, resident of Bhai Ki Pishore, said that the youths Lakhwinder Singh, Manjinder Singh and Manpreet Singh were walking to Gugga Maadi near Bhai Ki Pishore after working late at night. Meanwhile, a speeding Varna car came from behind and ran over the three, due to which the youth Lakhwinder Singh died and the others Manjinder Singh and Manpreet Singh were injured who have been admitted to different hospitals.
Thana Sadar Chief Lehra Inspector Ranbir Singh said that the police have taken possession of the Varna vehicle and filed a complaint against the driver Hartawal Singh Fauzi Sekhuwas and started searching for him. Let us tell you that this accident has happened for the third consecutive day at Lehragaga. Earlier, two youths were killed and three injured in two separate accidents.
