South Korean Navy patrol aircraft crashed in the southern region of the country

An South Korean Navy aircraft crashed during a training flight on Thursday. Four people were aboard the aircraft, but it was not immediately clear whether there were any casualties in the accident.

Nausna gave this information. The Navy said in a statement that the patrol aircraft had left its base in the south-eastern city of Pohang at 1.43 pm, but it fell to the ground for an unknown reason.

The statement said that the Navy is trying to find out the condition of the four people in the aircraft and the cause of the accident. An emergency office in Pohang said that rescuers and fire brigade were sent to the spot after receiving information about the fall of a flying object from local residents.

The Nambu police station in Pohang confirmed that a patrol plane of the Navy had crashed, but it was not immediately clear whether there was any death or injured in it.
