Sonakshi wrote on Instagram, “Day by day we are showing how much we have become as a society as a society. Every day is disappointing.” He wrote, “Stray dogs are not a problem. They are suffering. Victims of fear, hunger, disease, neglect, cruelty and abandonment. They live without shelter, without vaccination, without sterilization. Give birth to children on the streets, and see their children facing similar situations.”
He said that they will lose their freedom by sending dogs to crowded shelter sites. This is not animal welfare. The sterilization and vaccination of stray dogs is the real and human solution. Many celebrities including Veer Das, Jahnavi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Varun Grover have criticized this instruction. John Abraham has also written a letter addressing the Supreme Court and the Delhi government.
