According to news agency Reuters, Kamchatka has caused a tsunami of up to four meters and due to this heavy buildings have been damaged. The Governor of Kamchatka posted a video on social media and said that today’s earthquake was the most powerful in decades. After the earthquake, pictures of the destruction are slowly coming out. A tsunami alert was issued at the Kamachaka Peninsula where this earthquake occurred. Now the tsunami has also knocked there. The high waves of the sea are now reaching the residential areas.

After the earthquake, a tsunami alert has been issued in coastal areas like California and Hawaii in Japan, Russia and America. People were transferred to rescue centers in affected areas of Japan.
