Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday targeted the opposition fiercely, inaugurating development projects worth Rs 11,000 crore in Delhi. He said that some people only dance with the constitution, while their government has always respected the constitution.
PM Modi said, ‘Some people dance with the Constitution. He used to crush the constitution in his government. This comment is believed to be a direct reply to the allegations of the opposition, in which the opposition parties have been accusing the Modi government of violating the constitution.

Ended laws to exploit workers
The Prime Minister praised the policies of his government and said that his government has abolished many old and useless laws who exploited workers. He specifically mentioned a law related to the cleaning workers. He said, “Our sanitation workers had a law under which if they did not come to work, they could be sent to jail for a month.” He raised the question, ‘What did they think about the cleaning workers?’ PM Modi said that his government has abolished such exploitative laws, which has given respect and security to the workers.

Development of Delhi, Mirror of developed India
PM Modi introduced the development of Delhi as a model of ‘developed India’. He said, “The development of Delhi should be in such a way that people feel that it is the capital of a developed India.” He reiterated his resolve to make Delhi a better city.
On this occasion, he mentioned projects like Dwarka Expressway and Urban Extension Road (UR-II). He said that millions of tonnes of waste has been used to make Uer-II roads, which is also helping to reduce the waste mountains in Delhi. He also praised the ongoing Yamuna cleanliness drive and increasing number of electric buses under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, which is a big step towards fulfilling the dream of ‘Green Delhi, Clean Delhi’.
