Indian Air Force Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who is part of the Axiom-4 (AX-4) Private Space Mission, is preparing to return to Earth on 14 July. Earlier, he spent “an unforgettable evening” with his team at the International Space Station (ISS).
NASA’s astronaut Joni Kim recently shared some pictures on “X” (East Twitter), in which members of the AX-4 crew are seen together enjoying food on the orbital trip 400 km above the Earth. Kim wrote, “The most unforgettable evening I spent during this mission was when I shared a meal with my new friends, AX-4 members, at the international space station.” He added, “We shared our stories and surprised how people from different backgrounds and countries came together and united in space to represent humanity.”
In the pictures, Shukla and his fellow crew members are seen floating in zero gravity, enjoying food and laughing. The astronauts were eating rehydrated shrimp cocktails and crackers as the appetizer, followed by the chicken and beef fajas in the main meal. The Russian astronaut concluded the night with sweet bread, condensed milk and walnuts made of walnuts.
Shubhanshu Shukla, last month, rode in SpaceX’s crew dragon vehicle and flew from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, sent by Falcon 9 rocket. During this mission, he and his crew have made more than 60 state -of -the -art experiments in various fields ranging from biology, artificial intelligence to material science.
