She recalled Shefali Jariwala as a woman with calm flexibility and discipline, who nurtured her professional and personal life with care and honesty.
Describing them as a “wrapped fire in grace”, Tyagi highlighted Shefali’s sharp focus, unbreakable determination and a sense of purpose in every task he did. From his early success in the music video to Nach Baliye and his reality TV appearance in Bigg Boss 13, Shefali continuously developed and left his mark on every stage.

Popular reality show star Shefali Jariwala aka “Kanta Laga Girl” died on 27 June. She was 42 years old. Shefali Zariwala became famous overnight after working in a 2002 remix video. He then participated in reality shows like Nach Baliye (season 5 and 7) and Bigg Boss 13. Shefali died late at his house in Mumbai late on the night of 27 June. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The post-mortem report is still awaited, but the initial police and medical examination suggests that he died due to cardiac arrest due to alleged low blood pressure, fasting and taking anti-aging medicine without monitoring.
