Congress Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor made headlines on a podcast due to a comic conversation with Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi. When asked about posting photos with Prime Minister Modi with Smita Prakash at the ANI news agency’s podcast and estimating public reactions, Chaturvedi quipped that I sometimes love to harass people, because they are so invested in my life, where is she going ahead, where is she going ahead?

Prakash then jokingly said, “You are like Shashi Tharoor in a sari.” Chaturvedi said laughing, “I don’t know whether it is praise or mine, but I will tell Shashi.” Later Chaturvedi shared this clip on X (first Twitter), to which Tharoor responded in a funny way, “Thank you Priyanka. I consider myself lucky in some way.” Priyanka Chaturvedi said that she first shared her picture with Narendra Modi on Instagram, which later spread on X and other platforms. She jokingly, copying, said, “We had said that she had gone to the parliamentary delegation, and all this happened there.”

Chaturvedi was part of the Group-2 delegation led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, who visited European countries to expose India’s stand against terrorism. The tour took place soon after India -occupied Operation Sindoor in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir. He also criticized the Election Commission of India (ECI) and said that public confidence in the Election Commission is decreasing.
