Home Minister Amit Shah said that people working in Waqf have sold prime lands.
The Waqf Amendment Bill 2024 was introduced in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said- ‘Waqf bill is not for theft but for the poor. A member saying that minorities are saying, will you be threatening brother. There is a law of Parliament, you have to accept.
He said- not a single Islamic will come in Waqf. There is also no such provision. Minorities are being intimidated for vote bank. Waqf is an Arabic word. This means donation of property for religious purposes in the name of Allah. Donation is done for the same thing that we have rights.
Shah said- as far as India is concerned. It was changed after independence. This entire fight has been going on since 1995. This entire quarrel is of interference in Waqf. The discussion that has been going on since morning. I have heard it closely. A lot of misconceptions are among the members. Many misconceptions are being spread in the country.
Shah said- If the amendment of Waqf came in 2013, it would not have been needed to bring this bill. Elections were about to come in 2014, Waqf laws were replaced in 2013 for appeasement overnight. Due to this, the Congress government worked to give 123 VVIP property of Delhi Lutyens to Waqf.

1. Lalu Prasad Yadav

He said- The trustee inside the trust will be Christians in the church, a Hindu for a Hindu. Charity Commissioner will say why Muslims have come. The Charity Commissioner has to watch administrative work. If you do this in all religions, then the country will break.
3. On the rising land of Waqf
Home Minister Shah, citing the report, said- Kerala and Allahabad High Courts have said that religious activities will be Waqf, not Waqf Board. The opposition says that there was no disturbance. In 2013, the Unjust (Waqf Law) Act came.
He said that from 1913 to 2013, the total land of the Waqf Board was 18 lakh acres. What was the effect of law to become a law from 2013 to 2025, 21 lakh acres of land was added.
Shah said that 20 thousand properties were given on lease. According to the record, it became zero later. Where did she go, she was sold. Whose permission was sold. We are not calling the 2013 bill alone. All Catholic institutions are saying.
4. Waqf’s lands on wrongly selling
Amit Shah said that 12 villages with 250 hectares got the right to Waqf in Tamil Nadu. The temple’s 400 acres of land was declared the property of Waqf. I am reading a report in Karnataka. 29 thousand acres of Waqf’s land was given for rent.

5. On Waqf Board Working

He said that this bill will have a transparent audit. The balance sheet will be seen, why should you avoid transparency. You said that the order of Waqf cannot be challenged. It can now be challenged in any court. It has made it clear that the law will be implemented after the notification.
Shah said- whose land, the collector will investigate it
Shah asked- Tell me one thing, if you want to buy land for the temple, then who will be the owner, who will decide, the collector will decide. Whose land is the land of Waqf, what is the objection if the collector does this check. A lot of churches have been made, gurudwaras, not made on government property. The collector will investigate whether the land of Waqf is government or not.
Shah said- BJP’s principle is clear that we will not bring laws for vote bank. The law is for justice. Say how they are bringing laws. He said that 33 percent reservation was given to women. This law came into this (Modi government) government. Gas, toilets, water, insurance, electricity and houses were given to the poor.
Shah said- the law belongs to the Government of India, it has to be accepted
Shah said- There will be no discussion according to your (opposition). Every member in this House is free to speak. No family runs, people are representatives and have come. No decision can be kept out of the reach of the country’s court. Where will the whose land was grabbed will go? You did for your benefit and we dismiss.
He said that we reduced the matter of revenue. From 7 percent to 5 percent. They are misunderstanding, this money will be useful for Waqf. If a mosque is being built then you will get more money. Tribals, ASI, private property will be safe. It is necessary to have ownership to waqf. The information process has to be adopted for transparency. New Waqf will have to be registered transparently.
Congress worked to intimidate Muslims
Amit Shah said that when it came to building a Ram temple, it was said that the rivers of blood will flow, the Muslim will come down on the road. In the case of triple divorce, CAA, it was said that Muslim citizenship will go. If a single Muslim citizenship has gone in 2 years, then place it on the floor of the House.
