Actor Shah Rukh Khan recently suffered a back injury during the shooting of an action sequence of his upcoming film King. Sources told India Today that the injury is not serious and the actors are recovering. However, the incident has affected the production schedule and now filming is expected to resume in September.After the injury, Shah Rukh went to America and then moved to the UK, where he is doing health benefits with his family. His proposed visit to Sri Lanka has been postponed to give priority to his health benefits and Kushalaksheme.

The report quoted a source as saying that Shah Rukh has been advised to take a month’s break from work. “The accurate information of the injury is still secret, but Shah Rukh has gone to the US for immediate medical help with his team. It is not a serious matter, but a muscle injury. Over the years, Shah Rukh has been injured in many muscles of his body while doing stunts,” Sutra told the Bollywood ruckus.
The source further said, “King’s next schedule will now begin in September or October, as Shah Rukh is advised to take some time to recover. After being completely cured, he will return to the set with full force.”
The portal also stated that all shooting bookings for King – which were set at Film City, Golden Tobacco Studios and YRF Studio between July and August – have been canceled till the next notice. Shah Rukh and his team have not yet officially confirmed the news.
