Family surrounded by MLA office.
Shinda Singh, a raw employee of the sewerage board, died in a road accident in Budhlada. Another employee was seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital in Patiala.

The relatives of the deceased and the raw staff of the sewerage board staged a sit -in outside the office of MLA Principal Budharam. The protesters included Gurdev Singh, Jagseer Singh, Pramod Kumar and Ashok Kumar.
Was the only earning member of the family
Employee leaders said the deceased Shinda Singh was the only earning member of the family. He demanded financial assistance to the family of the deceased and a government job to a member.
MLA Principal Budharam expressed grief over the death of the employee. He said that he will send a report to the Punjab government, so that the family of the deceased can get help.
