Several schools including IGI Airport in Delhi stirred up with bomb threatened email, investigation begins

On Sunday, Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport received an email with a bomb threatening, after which the police started investigating the case.
Apart from IGI, some schools and many other institutions in the city have also received similar threatening emails. These e-mails were sent around 6 am. An airport official said that the threat was unclear and this had no effect on the operation of the airport.

Threatened in schools, later rumors came out
This new series of bomb threats started on the same day when two schools in Delhi also got similar emails, which were later declared a rumor.
According to a PTI report, schools that received these threats included a Sarvodaya Vidyalaya near CRPF Public School and Qutub Minar in Dwarka.
An official of the Delhi Fire Service said that police teams, fire personnel and bomb disposal units were immediately deployed in the affected schools. However, nothing suspect was found in the search operation.

Significantly, in recent months, there has been a flood of bomb -threatening emails targeting Delhi and its surroundings, and after investigation, all these threats have proved to be rumors so far.
