Seven people, including six army personnel, were seriously injured when a bus was overturned on the road on the Badrinath National Highway on Wednesday in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.

Chamoli District Magistrate Dr. Sandeep Tiwari told here that the accident took place in Sonla near Nandprayag where a bus filled with soldiers suddenly overturned uncontrollably and overturned on the road. Tiwari said that this bus going from Joshimath to Raiwala was 31 army personnel besides the driver.

He said that six army personnel and drivers were seriously injured in the accident and have been admitted to the government hospital in Karna Prayag. He said that the remaining soldiers were marginally injured.
