Tamil Nadu minister V Senthil Balaji and K Ponmudi have resigned from MK Stalin’s cabinet. RN Ravi has approved the resignation of both. Raj Bhavan said in a statement that the Governor took action, assuming the recommendation of Chief Minister Stalin.
Santhil Balaji, who was facing the ED investigation, was asked by the Supreme Court on Wednesday to hold elections between post and independence. Also warned that if he does not resign from the post of minister, his bail would be canceled.

The Madras High Court granted bail to Senthil Balaji by the Madras High Court in a case related to the scam of taking money in exchange for the job.
