Sensex crosses 55,600 points

On Tuesday, the second trading day of the week, the stock market saw a rebound. In early trade, the Sensex rose 120 points to 55,700 points.

At the same time, if we talk about Nifty, it has crossed 16,500 points. During the trading session, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, NTPC, Powergrid, IndusInd Bank, L&T and Bajaj Auto Shares rise. Shares of Maruti, Asian Paint, HDFC, Kotak Bank and Axis Bank also declined on the BSE index.

The Indian stock market rose on Monday. The 30-share BSE benchmark Sensex emerged from a series of declines for the two trading sessions on Monday. During the day trading, it went up to 450 points. At the close of trade, it closed at 55,555.79, up 226.47 points, or 0.41 percent. Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty rose by 45.95 points, or 0.28 per cent, to close at 16,496.45.
