Secretary of Agricultural Produce Market Committee arrested for taking bribe in Rajasthan

The team of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Rajasthan on Friday arrested the Secretary of Agricultural Produce Market Committee in Dholpur district for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 45 thousand. The officers provided this information.

According to officials, Kailash Chand Meena, Secretary of Agricultural Produce Market Committee, has been arrested in a bribery case. According to the statement issued by ACB, the complainant had complained that he had applied for the license of agricultural commodities (Aadat) business in Agricultural Market Committee, Dholpur.

The accused Secretary Meena is harassing the complainant by demanding a bribe of Rs 50,000 for issuing the said license. ACB team, while conducting a trap action today, caught the accused Secretary Meena red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 45,000 from the complainant in his office. A detailed investigation is being conducted in this matter.
